I was just searching thru the internet looking for some old photos of Chengdu, my hometown. In this picture of yours, a now demolished streetcape was captivated. It is obviously taken near the Wenshu Temple. I wonder if you could share more of the similar photo shoots of the city in 1996. Much appreciation. -Xiaoyin (ing982@hotmail.com)

There's another picture here but that's all I have handily available. Very smoggy and we had some fantastic food there - then we went up Emeishan. It must have changed a huge amount.
