White Island Pilgrimage

A blast from my past.

After my rather depressing political rant..this photo is really wonderful -the light..perhaps symbolic..

Hi Sian:

The island is called White Island and it's just off an island called Camiguin. It used to have a tree but it got washed away because the sand got taken away for a beach somewhere to the north.

The favourite quote of the locals was "There is no hope for the Philippines."

The favourite quote of the tourist authorities was "Come again to Camiguin."

There's no place like the Philippines!

Thanks for the Memories, Gazebook Sicily!

Gazebook was fantastic! If you don't know it, it's a festival that takes place in the small town of Punta Secca on the south ...
